For venue teams

For the people keeping a spot going in the real world

This page is for the teams behind cafés, restaurants, bars and food spots who'd like their place to float clearly through the Placerivo current — whether it's brand new here, already drifting by, or in need of a tidy-up.

Your place in the stream

How your spot looks as it rolls through the current

Every venue gets a card and a place page built around factual basics rather than long-form storytelling, and both always lead with the place itself.

You can help shape:

  • A clear name and a photo that actually looks like the room.
  • A plain description, the venue type, and the basics that sit behind the card.

You can't buy: a ranking, a preferential slot, invented reviews, or a promise of how often you surface — the current doesn't sell position.

A short path

Steps to help your place float clearly here

Whether your spot is new or already drifting by, the first move is the same: find it in the stream.

  1. Look for your spot in the current

Start on the current and see whether your place is already floating past.

  2. Already there but out of date?

Note what's drifted out of step — a changed name, a tired photo, the wrong venue type — and send us the corrections.

  3. Not in the stream yet?

Introduce it with the plain details a card needs, so we have enough to work with.

  4. Send it our way

Pass it along and expect a little back-and-forth; updates can take a while to settle into the flow.

Plain expectations

What drifting with Placerivo can and cannot promise

Placerivo doesn't sell rankings, and a spot in the current is never a guarantee of any particular result. Information may be refreshed over time as places change.

  • Tell us about a major change — a move, a big menu shift, or new details worth carrying.
  • Let us know about a closure so it can drift out cleanly.
  • Flag a factual detail that reads wrong on the card.

For anything more general, the say a word page is the way to reach the team.
